Hello Maelstrom!
KKW is the scrubbiest guild on the entire server. We're months behind world progression. We camp and grief lowbies, zerg in world PvP, and have no skill whatsoever. We have many notorious forum personalities (trolls) - though we're all just full of hugs and bunnies and flowers once you get to know us. That's right, I forgot, we're actually a bunch of whiny carebears who couldn't PvP our way out of a paper bag.
Ok, now that that's out of the way.
At the moment, our recruitment status is based off the handy little chart below. Before you get down to that, though, here's a list of shit you should bring to the table when applying to the guild:
1. Personality. You could be the best player in the history of WoW, but if you're a whiny lootwhore, annoying jerk, or pity-party crybaby, don't even bother applying. While we're at it, guild chat isn't wall-to-wall profanity, but sometimes we use NAUGHTY WORDS. So, if you have delicate sensibilities, you're probably better off apping to <Knitting Club> instead.
2. DPS. That's your job, you should be able to do it, and a lot of it. Better measuring stick: Can you see yourself fitting in somewhere in [well, this was a particularly tasty WWS report, but it expired because we're scrubby and don't pay for it]. Be well-versed in your spec, have the gear, gems, enchants, and consumables to support it, and basically know your stuff.

2. Healing. Press a button, someone's health goes up. If you pressed the button labelled Crusader Strike/Vampiric Embrace/Lightning Bolt instead, go away. You should have a solid understanding of healing in a raiding environment (both multiple healers on a single tank, solo healing a tank, or raid/spot healing), and have the gear, gems, enchants, and consumables to support it.

2. Tanking. You hit shit, shit hits you, shit does not hit other people. Understand the mechanics of threat and how they apply to your class' abilities, and have the gear, gems, enchants, and consumables to support it. Gear, especially, will be measured carefully if we recruit a tank, because unlike other classes this isn't something that can be quickly bandaided or covered up - dead DPS or healers don't necessarily mean a wipe, while dead tanks very often do.
3. This used to be attunements, but since that isn't relevant anymore, instead we'll say #3 is: A HUGE DONG. Avonaco and Irrihaks need satisfying.
4. PvP. We suck horribly at it, of course, but we still do it. Bonus points if you enjoy it too, but it's not a requirement.

To elaborate on the above: while Low means more than likely we're not going to recruit this class/spec for a long time, that doesn't mean we'll turn away an exceptional player, circumstances depending. However, it does make your chances pretty slim. Conversely, high does not denote desperation. Well actually it does, but hey, sometimes beggars can be choosers anyway.
