Prior to TBC KKW had no problem reinviting members that had been removed due to 1 month inactivity. Most members kept in touch on the forums and it was like they were never gone to begin with. ;)
Since TBC however, we have had members that have been "afk" for 4 months or more, even up to a year come back and expect a reinvite, no questions asked, to their old raiding rank. While we are a guild of friends, many "afk" invites don't keep in touch on the forums, leave for loot reasons or other drama and then they retrun many, many months later. We will no longer be accepting nor encouraging "afk" invites to past members. Exceptions may be made to members that never really go away and continue to keep in touch. We hope that this will cut down on confusion and any annoyances that come with reninviting members that no one has spoken to in months and months. This will also mean that we will never be reinviting Science to the guild. Sorry, I know this breaks everyone's heart. :p
