They have announced there will be a collector's edition and what it will have within (artwork book, mousepad, DVD of game and some behind the scenes stuff, cds with soundrack and.....FUCKING FROSTWYRM WHELP PET!!!) but haven't yet said how to get it. Gamestop, etc. are all only showing the normal version available.

I would give it another week before you see collector's editions available for pre-order.

I showed up to Gamestop midnight for TBC without preordering. Upon arrival I was informed there were no copies available for non preorders.

At 10am I called best buy and they had 200 copies available. Fuck wasting money on preorders.

If you click the link that it takes you to Gamestops website showing how to order Wrath, you can type in Wrath in the search box and it comes up with like 5 results, 1 of them being the collectors

Pre-ordered the collector's edition for $10 at my local Gamestop. Usually they have midnight releases, so I'll pick it up that night and install it.

Same. Mail order may come on release day, or the day after. But it certainly won't arrive by the midnight release. I went to Wal-mart last time and had a fairly pleasant experience. I waited a couple hours, listened to my iPod and picked up a CE copy. I plan on doing the same thing this year.

Last time the huge mob of pre-order customers at Gamestop was outside in the cold waiting for several hours for the midnight release. They were still there when I was on my way home. Fuck that shit.

For TBC I preordered a copy of the normal and it arrived in Japan about 3 days after release. I ended up buying a CD key from one of those CD key websites. I don't want to have to do that again so I'm wondering if there are any other options.

Paypal someone for a CE preorder and they email you the key and you download it from blizzard, then they ship you the box/pet/etc.
